Imagine if you moved out of a house in a hurry (winds changed and fire is moving your way as an example) to a new house not quite finished. That's a reasonable description of what we have gone through. While we were able to move (and archive everything) everything for daily activities- we are living out of boxes somewhat while we finish things and move in. One example is ratings certificates. The links need to be updated after each file is moved over which is occurring. As a workaround to support race committees, all current ratings certificates are in a folder with a link provided. Thanks to Amy for pointing that out and to Judy for helping on file links. Let us know what is not working (we have a good idea but more eyes are better). We know the photos of BOD were a problem and did 2018 first and earlier years will follow. So let us know what to do and the priority. Thanks!

    Hi Bob,

I propose the following course of action.

    I will revise http://wp.sfbama.org/handicap-applications/
The title of this page is "Handicap Applications and certificates 2018"

I will create a draft copy of the page.

I will fix the links on the draft page, not the live page.
I will not make any changes to the published (Live) version of the page.

I will not publish the draft page while I am working on it.

You will review the draft when I am finished updating the links.

Please don't make any changes to the live version of http://wp.sfbama.org/handicap-applications/ while I am working on the draft. Any changes you make will be lost when we publish the draft.

Please let me know it this meets with your approval.

    Regards,
    Judy

Stephan created an new version of the web archive file on the old server on 6 July. It contains 80 files, of which 57 are ratings certificates. About half of the 57 ratings certificates are duplicates in two formats (xlx and .pdf). That reduces the number of unique certificates down to about 28.

According to jibset, there are 38 certificates that are paid for. However, it appears that 8 boats have a rating of "1", which indicates that they either haven't started their application or haven't been assigned a rating yet.

Should this be referred to the ratings chair, David, for follow-up?

The 2017 and 2018 ratings chair gets emails on all paid rating certificates and all other status and updates from JS Ratings Store. Each racer who purchases a rating cert is directed to apply/request a ratings certificate per the rating page and the ratingschair email is also provided (IIRC). It does take time to generate a rating so there will be/are cases where a ratings cert is paid for but not yet issued. I do need to check the link provided though.

Ok the link in JS was a dead link. Since the ratings page/s is in transition, I updated JS to
"Application and additional details here on Ratings page at www.sfbama.org " which can be more specific when things get updated.
            Thanks!

Input on Calendar from past BAMA member Bill G of Peregrine Falcon. He really liked the old website calendar because he could scroll down for months. I adjusted the scope of the front page calendar from 1 mo to 3 mos. Too much? Too little? Should we minimize the content published per item to shorten the list? Thoughts?

Calendar was set to display beginning on the current day. The problem with that is that the most recent event/race and the associated forum/page links disappear. Reset to 10 days before today to preserve those links and to allow participants time to upload stories, pics in associated Forum.
